This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on aimar.chat and app.aimar.chat. Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data, your rights and how to complain to a data protection authority. Where we process personal data on a business customer’s behalf, our Data Processing Addendum governs that processing; cookie choices do not allow us to reuse customer content beyond the customer’s instructions.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and identifiers that store or read information on your device; in this policy, “cookies” covers them all. They may process identifiers, device details, pages viewed and interactions. Such information remains personal data where it can identify or be linked to a person, even if it is coded or pseudonymized.
First-party cookies are set on our domains; third-party cookies are set by another organization whose service we use. Session cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. Categories and your permission
Strictly necessary. These make functions you request work, such as sign-in, session security, load balancing and remembering your cookie choice. They do not need consent. We never classify advertising or analytics cookies as necessary.
Analytics. With your consent, these help us understand how visitors use aimar.chat so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this. It is separate from a customer connecting its own Google Analytics account to AIMAR for reporting.
Preferences and marketing. We do not currently use preference or marketing cookies. If we start, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
We activate analytics cookies only after you consent to that category. Continuing to browse, staying on a page or closing the banner does not give consent. Rejecting analytics cookies does not limit your access to the website or the Service.

app.aimar.chat (AIMAR platform)
The app uses only technologies necessary for requested functions such as authentication and security. These do not require consent when they meet the strictly necessary exemption. Any optional technology requiring consent must stay disabled until the required consent controls are available and you have chosen it.

The app does not run Google Analytics. Website analytics cookies are restricted to the aimar.chat host. We remove legacy analytics cookies previously set for .aimar.chat when a browser returns to the website, without requiring analytics consent. The app does not use those identifiers for analytics, and its logging must exclude them. You may also remove them through browser settings. A website cookie choice does not authorize analytics in the app.
4. Accepting, rejecting and changing your choice
On your first visit to aimar.chat, the banner offers Accept all, Reject non-essential and Customize with equally accessible controls. Optional categories are off by default. Analytics scripts, analytics requests and cookies remain blocked until you select Analytics; closing or ignoring the banner leaves them blocked. Necessary Service functions remain available when you reject. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw your choice as easily as you gave it. A choice applies to the device and browser used on aimar.chat.
Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection and does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. We stop the relevant scripts and remove analytics cookies within our control, including applicable legacy domain/path variants. Your browser settings can remove any remaining cookies. We remember your choice for up to 12 months and ask again sooner when a material change requires fresh consent. We retain a limited record of the choice, time, consent-notice version and categories to demonstrate compliance, for the period in Privacy Policy Section 9.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Deleting cookies removes your saved choice, so we will ask again. If you block strictly necessary cookies, sign-in and other parts of the Service will not work.
5. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Transfers to Google LLC in the United States require an applicable safeguard, such as its active EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification covering the data. We configure website analytics with Google Signals and advertising personalization disabled, no Google Ads linkage, and user-level/event-level retention of 14 months; aggregated reports may be retained longer. Google uses IP addresses to derive location and provide service functions. Its published practices distinguish EU/UK/Swiss traffic from other traffic; we do not promise that IP addresses are never processed. The device contacts Google when consented analytics runs. 6. Providers and international transfers
Providers listed in the declaration may process associated information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for an actively certified recipient and covered data) or on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional measures where needed. Cookie consent does not replace a required transfer safeguard. Contact support@aimar.chat for information about these safeguards or a copy, subject to lawful redactions.
7. Changes and contact
We scan our website regularly and update this policy and its declaration when our cookies or practices change, revising the date at the top.
